Write out you
life’s vision.
In scripture it is written, “Write the vision and make it plain.”
Don’t anticipate a clear,
perfect and well-defined vision overnight though, it takes time to form. So
don’t worry, spend as much time as you need creating it. It may take one hour, several
days or even several weeks.
First, start thinking
about your dreams, hopes, and goals, as well as your values in life. Ask
yourself what you want and why you want it. Be honest with yourself and
remember that it is OK to dream big. The bigger the better.
Be sure to focus on
your aspirations not what others expect of you or what you think you should do.
If you feel stuck ask yourself, “How can I serve?”
And when you focus only
on what you want, not on what you don’t want, you
will get exactly what you want.
Be sure you think
about all the areas of your life: romantic relationships, friendships, family,
career, personal growth, hobbies, health and quality of life and so on. You’d
be amazed how all areas of our life inter-link together.
After you’ve outlined
the most important things, add details.
Your vision should
provide some detail about what measurable results you are going to achieve in
your life and when.
Relax and make this
exercise fun. You can always come back to it later and change, add or remove
something.
